NIVEA Autumn Must Haves

Last month I received a parcel from one of my favourite brands, Nivea, containing a couple of things for me to try.

The transition period from summer to autumn, where the temperature drops and we all rush to turn on our central heating, wreaks havoc with my skin. I'm always far more conscious in the colder months of ensuring I moisturise frequently because, lets face it, it is most definitely needed.

I was really pleased to find I was sent the new Express Hydration body lotion, which has been designed to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth for 48 hours.

With this product, I feel like Nivea have really thought hard about what people want from their skincare - particularly at this time of the year. The lotion is infused with their own deep moisture serum and sea minerals, to lock leave your skin hydrated for longer. I've actually sadly just finished using up their Express Care hand cream which I really loved and which is also contains sea minerals.

The lotion has that signature fresh Nivea scent, which personally, I really like and it has also been specially formulated to be feel really light on the skin. When you have applied the lotion, it's absorbed within record time. If there is one thing I absolutely hate, it's getting out of the shower and having to wait for all of your moisturiser to properly dry before you can get dressed. I am so pleased to say that's a thing of the past with this. Literally, SO pleased.

I've found that, when using this, my skin has felt really soft. Some lotions can be a little bit sticky once applied, but that this sits really nicely on the skin.

The second thing that I received in my parcel was the Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream.

Some time ago I tried out the Q10 Energising Day Cream, which I reviewed here. I really liked this cream, which I felt did improve the how my skin looked, making it look that bit healthier.

The eye cream is from this same range and it is designed to minimise the appearance of under eye circles and reduce the appearance of under eye wrinkles.

I probably started using the cream around a month ago. It comes in a little tube with a precise nozzle and I just dot some spots under my eyes and then gently pat this into my skin. I'm not sure whether it's because the eye area is quite sensitive, but you are advised to 'dab' the skin rather than rubbing it in.

When the cream was first applied, I found it was quite cooling and my skin felt quite refreshed. Again, like the other moisturiser, it feels really light on the skin and is absorbed very quickly into my skin.

Over the time that I have been using the cream, is that my eyes look a bit more fresh. By that, I mean that I have found that my eye bags appear to have reduced. I also think it has helped to smooth out some of the smaller lines around my area. By no means have my bags and wrinkles disappeared quickly, but I definitely think that there has been some improvement and I will certainly continue to use this. I'm 25 now and I am definitely about my skin ageing and it does need some extra help in the colder winter months.

They are available to purchase at numerous beauty retailers and I do think they are reasonably priced for their performance (Under £4 for the body lotion, £10.49 for the eye cream)

Have you tried any of these products before? Let me know what you thought in the comments!
